Splitty is a small application that lets you divide files into smaller ones, so you can work on them, or transport them in any external device (pendrive, diskette, CD, etc). With Splitty you can divide any file, whatever the format, and it can be a graphic, document, text, etc.



It is a very useful tool when you need, for example, to send a large-sized file via the Internet, as the majority of email servers only permit small sized file attachments. With Splitty you can divide the file to send the various parts separately. Once you receive all the parts you can join them to form the original.



If you divide your files with Splitty you can be totally sure that the original file isn´t damaged, as this application has been optimized to be quick, safe and efficient. The file division can be done two ways, by number of files to be obtained, or the size you want each to be. Also, Splitty lets you add all types of comment to your files, so that it makes it easier to later identify them.
